Educational training is offered to teachers in grade K–12 and to other professionals. Each year, facilitators at our educational conference share resources and tools for teaching financial skills. The conference also provides an opportunity for attendees to network with other educators.
A scholarship is provided to a teacher to cover the expense of attending the National Jump$tart Conference.
The Financial Literacy Champion Award recognizes an individual or group that has best advanced financial literacy in Vermont.
Financial Literacy Day is held at the Vermont State House. Jump$tart Coalition participants discuss with legislators the importance of ensuring that young people have the opportunity to develop and improve their personal financial skills.
Financial Literacy Month is in April. Activities throughout the month focus on promoting, developing, and improving the financial literacy skills of Vermont's students.
